In a webinar recorded on December 2, 2015, global leaders highlighted examples of mainstreaming biodiversity in transportation infrastructure from Mexico, Belgium, Germany, and Peru, with insights from the the CBD Secretariat, WWF, and The Nature Conservancy.

This session was hosted by the Biodiversity Mainstreaming Champions Group, CBD, WWF, and TNC, and funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development via the Germany Agency for International Cooperation.

Why It Matters

The webinar underscored that mainstreaming biodiversity means making nature part of everyday decisions that shape economies and well-being.
